Semandex Co-Authored and Presented Paper with Pechter Middle East Polls (PMEP) - On February 9th, Semandex delivered a paper co-authored with Pechter Middle East Polls (PMEP) as part of the HSCB Focus 2011 Conference in Chantilly, VA.  The theme of this year's conference is "Integrating Social Science Theory and Analytic Methods for Operational Use", and our paper describes how innovative polling methods from PMEP can produce high interest, high validity data from a variety of countries in the Middle East, which the Semandex Salsa Product can then combine with other operational data to maximize its usefulness.  The paper appeared in the "Operational Use and Requirements with Social-Cultural Science: Combatant Commands (COCOMS)" track.  The presentation can be accessed here, the extended abstract here, and a short video showing salsa integration with the PMEP data can be seen here.

Semandex Awarded ONR SBIR "Disambiguation of Entity Association Statements" Contract - On September 01, 2010 , Semandex was awarded an SBIR by ONR to develop and implement a process and algorithm to fuse information related to individuals, events and organizations.
